Roll Crusher

These Crushers are meant to handle large to medium feed size of material. Crushing ratios would be of the order of 4.

Most of our crushers have gone for handling ROM Coal of 500 to 600 mm.

However, they are also excellent for materials such as Bauxite, Coal, Ammonium nitrate lumps etc. serving as primary crushers sizes of up to 1200Ø and 1500 width available.

These crushers are meant to handle medium to small feed size of material. These come under the category of Secondary Crushers having a number of variations available to meet different applications of coal, Iron ore, Pet coke, limestone, clay and various minerals. Design of rolls in such a way that big tooth whereas big lumps handling, smooth Nib type whereas medium particles handling and plain tooth whereas fines particles handling.

We can offer with either mechanical conical plate type springs or Hydraulic type springs as per client requirement. Available range of crusher starting from Ø 200 x 300 mm wide to Ø 1200 mm and widths up to 2800mm supplied.

This consists of one large diameter roll and a pair of smaller diameter rolls. Location is such that the material enters the big roll – small roll combination first and then enters into smaller rolls in the second stage.

Crushing is done in two stages. Being used for Coal since a decade.

The named four roll itself defined as 4 rolls & having two stage effectively crushing with crushing ratio about 1:8 whereas double roll crusher crushing ratio 1:4. This crusher is very compact in design. Instead of 2 nos. of Double roll crusher we can use 1 no. of Four roll crusher.

Roll crushers are having less speed & generate less fines as compare to other high speed crushers. Roll crushers are best for handling high moisture materials & we made such provision of self belt cleaning system to avoid chocking/jamming issues further.

This is basically a Double Roll Crusher with crushing elements called spikes, of different shapes / sizes to meet different applications. The crushing element is fixed to individual spike holders, which are keyed to the roll shaft. This is also known as Boiler Bank Crusher.

Thus crusher can handle large feed sizes and crush creating minimum fines. Crushing takes place in stages, since the spikes are located in a staggered manner.

The crusher has an integral hopper into which the feed material can be directly unloaded. Excellent for working as primary crusher for Boiler bank Ash, limestone, coal and other medium hard materials.
